Tom
Askaroff studied music at
Sussex Downs College where he attained a BTEC National Diploma Triple Grade Merit Pass in July
of 2004. He went on to join a number of Sussex bands and to teach
the guitar privately, until he met the Kismet Girls in 2007.

Tom
worked with the Kismet Girls at their Studios in Herstmonceux until
2008. He translated song
ideas into musical tracks for the girls using the guitar and bass, drums
and keyboards. The Group rely on computer recording equipment to produce
professional masters in 32 bit quality. Mandy
Giltjes, one of the founders of this website, is now part of Kiss
Off, an up and coming all female pop group begun in 2012.

STUDIOS
CMP are an Eastbourne based recording studio, recently revamped with all the best digital and analogue equipment, yet still maintaining the relaxed and friendly working atmosphere that musicians want.
CMP offer a wide selection of services, including several packages ranging from day rentals to promotional deals. Whether you are just recording a single track or a full length album, we will provide the deal for you.
If you’re just looking for a place to rehearse, our practice room is fully kitted out with a bass amps, guitar amps, full drum kit and PA system ready to use with as many mics as you need.
Recording
At CMP Studios we have experience in recording many different genres of music. As a result, we feel we could help take your bands career to the next level by offering you one of our professional recording packages.
We offer a wide selection of recording services, including packages ranging from full day rentals to promotional and digital distribution deals. Whether you are looking to record a single track or a full length album, we will rent by the hour or by the day to suit you. Evening and late night recording is also available for those who work during the day.
Our recently revamped control room boasts new high end valve and solid state equipment, as well as industry standard software and plug-ins. The studio also offers a high quality backline and a selection of high end instruments if you are unable to bring your own. Your session also includes the use of one our experienced engineers, who will help to provide you with the best possible sound for your recording.
Most importantly, when you choose to record at CMP Studios you are choosing a relaxed and friendly working environment, allowing us to capture your best performance every time.
The studio also offers in-house mixing and mastering services.
Mixing and Mastering
At CMP Studios we offer several flat rates and package deals to suit any client.
Whether you have recorded at the studio or elsewhere, CMP Studios will be happy to mix and master your recording to your deadline whilst insuring high quality results.
Your tracks will be mixed/mastered in one of our acoustically treated studios using industry standard monitoring equipment, as well high end outboard gear.

Rehearsals
Our main live room doubles as a large band rehearsal space. Acoustically treated and air conditioned, the space is perfect for small or large bands to practice at full volume.
Full backline is provided for a 5 piece band:

•Line 6 Spider 2 Stack
•Ashton Valve Stack
•Peavey 700w Bass Stack
•Peavey XR800F PA system
•As many vocal microphones as needed
You are of course welcome to bring your own equipment. Additional backline can be provided on request, but please contact us first to discuss what is available.

Filming Your Sessions
Our team of film makers can film your session and professionaly edit it for online promotion and DVDs.
